About Me and My Art
My artistic journey began as a dream to transform a lifelong passion for art into a tangible expression of creativity. Seeking a creative outlet, I have always been drawn to the world of art, where landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, and even the intricate beauty of flowers capture my imagination. My journey has been enriched by participating in numerous digital art shows, where my work has been recognized and appreciated for its uniqueness. I begin every artwork thoughtfully and strive toward producing an artwork that resonates on a personal level.
I am a 77 year old amateur artist who is really just getting started exploring art. I have no formal training in art, but enjoy experimenting and trying new things artistically. I am primarily working with acrylics on paper, but have also experimented with oil pastels and watercolor. I am inspired by color and by life. By profession, after having been a college webmaster for 10 years, I have been teaching for over 20 years. As I moved from full time faculty to adjunct faculty, I find that I'm really enjoying finally having the time to paint!
